The game client does a lot less work every frame now: the old timing code and the way the world is drawn were made much lighter. On a Steam Deck the busiest part of the game went from about 83 % down to about 60 % in a town, so the game runs smoother and cooler. The picture looks exactly the same as before.
Close and reopen the launcher to get the update.
