This evening's maintenance was a server update. It is all about how you see the players and monsters around you. No client update is needed.

Running
- Other players now run at the speed they really run. Until now your game was told one fixed speed for everyone, so a player who moved by mouse click ran too far on your screen and was pulled back at every step. Walking backwards had the same fault.
Coming into view
- A player who walks into your view now appears where they really are and keeps walking. Before, they appeared a few steps behind and stood still for a moment.
- A player who is already fighting when you first see them is shown in battle stance.
- When the server moves a player - a warp, or a correction after a short lag - the players around see it at once, instead of a figure that stays behind.
- A player who returns to the save point on the same map now stands up for the players nearby. Before, they still looked dead to others.
Monsters
- When a monster stops or dies, everyone who still sees it is told, also from a little further away. A dead monster that comes into view is shown dead.
Logging in
- If the game tells you your account is already logged in, the button that closes the old session works again.
- Still on our list: the pose a player arrives in after changing maps, and players who moved while your own map was loading.
