Tonight's maintenance was a server update and a small client update. Nearly all of it comes from a close look at how the server and the game work together - small things that looked off for a long time.

Other players (client update)
- Other players now glide to where they really are instead of jumping there. You will notice it most when someone steers a lot or zig-zags.
- A player who jumps keeps the jump on your screen. Until now a position update in the middle of a jump put the figure back on the ground.
- Moving by mouse click keeps your normal run speed. Until now a click made you about a sixth slower than the keyboard.
- The game now sends each of your actions at once, instead of holding small ones back for a moment.
Fights
- When another player hits a monster, you now see the monster react. Until now your game was told that nothing had landed.
- The damage numbers of area skills appear with the swing. They could come up to two seconds late.
- Effects that slow a monster now hold while the monster chases you, and end when they should - Freezing Shot, for example.
What others see of you
- New shoes show on other players' screens at once.
- If you use your second weapon set, players who arrive later see the right shield.
- A player who jumps into your view appears right away.
- After a map change you keep facing the way you were facing. Until now everyone faced the same fixed direction after a loading screen.
Quests
- Items that an open quest still needs can no longer be sold to a shop by accident.
- Close the game and the launcher, then start the launcher to get the update.
