Tonight's update is live. You do not need a client update for it.
Alterstones work now. The six stones from the trader in Prontera give their bonus when you put one into a weapon. A stone that has no effect yet is refused and stays in your bag; before, it was used up for nothing. All materials for the stones now drop from the Cognito monsters.
New gear. 2,247 new pieces of equipment for levels 1 to 50 can now be found on monsters. They are rare. A smaller part of the new gear is held back until its bonuses work.
Fixes. A new character no longer gets the "Now using skill points" message. The Town Mouse in Prontera can be seen again, so its quest can be finished. The quest "Mushroom Grandmother Hanne William" can be finished at Hanne. Venom Coat of different ranks no longer adds up on one target.
Thank you for the bug reports. Every one of these fixes started with a report from a player.
