Every monster has an element and an element level from 1 to 4. Select a monster to see its element as a small icon next to its name. Your attacks and skills hit with an element too, and the charts show how much damage that element does: above 100% is extra damage, below 100% is less, and "No damage" means the hit does nothing. A higher monster element level makes its strong and weak points bigger.
