The game download is available to accepted alpha players only. Your download links appear on your personal status page once you are accepted.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
- About 10 GB of free disk space
- A graphics card with DirectX 9 support
On a Mac: Apple Silicon (M1 or newer) with macOS 26 or newer, and about 10.4 GB of free disk space while it installs.
Installing
- Open your personal status page (the link you got with your access request) and create your game login: an account name, a password, and whether your characters are female or male. After about a minute the page says your login is ready.
- Download the AegisRO2 launcher from your status page. Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" because the launcher is new: click "More info", then "Run anyway". On a Mac, drag AegisRO2 into Applications. The first time, your Mac stops it: click Done, open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.
- Log in to the launcher with your game login. It downloads the game (about 4.5 GB, about 3.9 GB on a Mac) into your user folder and keeps it up to date from then on.
- Press PLAY.
